Best Devils game I've been to to date!

I bought tickets for me and my girlfriend to go to. I've been to Devils games before but she hasn't (this was her first hockey game in general). It was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better game! Not only did they win against our rivals the Flyers, but we scored 5 goals and saw 4 fights. I am so glad I picked that game to take my girlfriend to. We had a blast. My only complaint is that parking for the Prudential Center is pricey and being in Newark it is not a safe area. We paid $15 (which is cheap) to park a couple of blocks away. Parking right next to Pru was $30. That's too much! Prices for food and drinks inside the arena were too expensive too. $5 for water, $10 for beer, and $13 for a small crappy burger and chips! No thank you! If you want my money, make it reasonable.

See the Rangers play the Devils at the Rock

Seeing the NY Rangers play at Madison Square Garden can be very expensive, so a cheaper and more practical alternative is to see them play the Devils at Prudential Center (a.k.a. The Rock) in Newark. The venue is very modern, and it's very easy to travel to it via mass transit. There were just as many Rangers fans as there were Devils fans at this game, so Rangers fans don't have to feel like they are in "enemy territory." The only major thing that Rangers fans give up when they see the Rangers at the Rock instead of at the Garden is hearing the Rangers "goal song" when they score. This was our second experience attending a game at The Rock, and both times were excellent experiences. From a "people-watching" standpoint, it is very interesting to see the large number of couples in which the man and woman are cheering for rival teams, as well as pairs of friends rooting for rival teams.
